Eight TX teams distinguished themselves at WF 2023!

Congratulations to four teams from TX who were recognized at the World Finals 2023 Awards Ceremony, and an additional four teams in the top 10. The final level of competition was hosted at Michigan State University, in E. Lansing, MI.
Division 1 teams rocked and showed that age or experience do not matter when it comes to creativity; determination and hard work easily bridged that gap.


World Champions!

The team from Gen. Ricardo Sanchez, Rio Grande, ranked first out of sixty-eight in problem 5, division 1. The team, coached by Elias Saenz, received a large trophy and individual gold medals.


Fourth Place

The team from Frostwood Elementary, Houston, ranked fourth out of sixty-nine in problem 1 division 1. The team, coached by Sarah Fuselier, was recognized with an honorable mention.


Fifth Place

The team from All Saints Episcopal School, Tyler, ranked fifth place out of fifty-five in problem 3 division 1. The team, coached by Katie Johnson & Kathy Martinez, was recognized with an honorable mention.

Sixth Place

The team from The Clariden School, Southlake, ranked sixth out of sixty-one in problem 1 division 2. The team, coached by Rissa Westerfield, was recognized with an honorable mention.

Additional teams ranked in the Top Ten!

7th place - West University Elementary A, in problem 4 division 1.

8th place - River Oaks Elementary A, in problem 2 division 1.

9th place - Woodridge Elementary B, in problem 1 division 1.

9th place - All Saints Episcopal School, in problem 2 division 1.
