This list outlines the dress code at World Finals for TEAM TEXAS.
All friends and family attending World Finals are invited to purchase shirts as part of the Texas delegation at World Finals.
Tuesday - The REGION shirt
The 2024 Region T-shirt is a beautiful tie dye with the ccreativity Mockingbug on the back. It represents what became the most popular Texas pin this year. On the front is our TXOM logo.
This is the t-shirt of the Regional Odyssey of the Mind Tournaments (Central Region, North Region, Houston Area Region). As you see from the size selection, coach, family and friends are all welcome to cheer their team! You can wear it around town/campus and for team pictures.
It is also worn at the Opening Ceremonies at World Finals on TUESDAY evening. It must be worn by anyone who walks in the the “Parade of Nations”, as well as any team and family members who own one, in the Texas delegation area.
Wednesday - The STATE shirt
The Viking Cow
The 2024 State Finalist shirt follows a fantasy theme with our Viking Cow engaging in battle against enemies of Creativity, such as the dreaded Outside Assistance!
This is the t-shirt of the State Odyssey of the Mind Tournament in March. As you see from the size selection, coaches, family and friends are all welcome to cheer their team! You can wear it around town/campus and for team pictures.
It is also worn by team and family members who attend the Float & Banner Parade at World Finals on WEDNESDAY evening.
THURSDAY is a free dress day at WF.
You can wear any souvenir shirts that you purchase from Odyssey of the Mind in Iowa!
Friday - The WORLD FINALS Ceremony shirt
Prime Creativity!
This is the t-shirt of the Texas teams going to Odyssey of the Mind World Finals in Ames, IA. It is worn by all Texans at World Finals Closing Ceremonies on FRIDAY evening. Please do NOT wear this t-shirt anywhere, any day before Friday. This t-shirt is provided at the Texas State Tournament Awards Ceremony to all advancing team members and one coach per team, at no cost. Additional t-shirts are available for sale to family members.
