A few things you need to know:
Create your team
Follow instructions and timeline to get access to the full long-term problems, create your team, add team members, submit clarification requests, and later register for competition.
Announcement: DUE TO RESTRICTIONS BY OUR TEXAS HOSTING SITES, TEAMS CANNOT USE GLITTER IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM IN THEIR SOLUTIONS.
JUDGES:
-DO NOT have final say in the Problems that they judge, but may request a position and a Problem- BUT NO ONE MAY JUDGE THE PROBLEM WHERE THEIR CHILD IS COMPETING.
-WILL NOT see their children compete and
-MUST commit to completing the General Training online as well as completing the General Training Certification Test online before February 16th, 2026.
-AND ATTENDING PROBLEM SPECIFIC TRAINING
at THE CLARIDEN SCHOOL on February 20th at 6PM. DINNER WILL BE PROVIDED. BRING YOUR OWN DRINK.
-Judges are only required to judge at the state tournament if the team they represent advances to the State tournament.
-Judges are NOT REQUIRED for Primary teams; HOWEVER TWO half day volunteers are required for each Primary team.
Judges MUST BE Over 18 years old.
VOLUNTEERS:
-Do select their jobs.
-Job selections will be available the week or two before the tournament, once schedules are out so that selections may be made to coordinate with your team’s performance. HOWEVER selections will be made in the order that a volunteer signs up. Have your volunteers sign up AS SOON AS THE LINK IS POSTED.
