2025 SponTX Challenge

Consider this your optional on-the-way team TX spontaneous problem that is judged for style. One submission per team, please.

A Wild West Story

·         This is a hands-on problem. You have two weeks to think about and prepare your solution.

·         Your problem is to create a "wild west" story about an adventurer character and an antagonist character who should become friends with the adventurer by the story's end.

·         Your story should contain the use of a lasso in a clever or surprising way.

·         Your story should be about a page and a half long and be sent to the WF Committee by email by end of day, May 12th.

·         You can use the format of your team’s choice—write a poem, draw a comic book, create a movie script, or come up with your own medium!

·         Judges will be looking for creativity in the story, the presentation, and how the lasso is used.

·         Up to three winning teams will get extra pins to trade.

Participation is totally optional. However, the three winning teams will each receive a prize of additional pins for trading!
